Creation Audio Labs Nashville Amp Expo: First Trade Show Dedicated To Guitar And Bass Gear Opens On August 2009

July 23, 2009
Creation Audio Labs Nashville Amp Expo

It is not an everyday thing that you get to grab a guitar, check out and try out some gear in appreciable volume levels. In fact, with the fear of noise pollution, you may not be even allowed to do so. Now think about this: Would you like to visit a trade show where you can bring your guitar, bass, and/or pedalboards and try out those boutique pieces of gear at real-world volume in, of all places, a hotel? Set to take place from August 22 to August 23, 2009, Creation Audio Labs will be opening the first annual Nashville Amp Expo at the Hyatt Place hotel in Brentwood, Tennessee, so it's time to prepare your guitar and take on a one-of-a-kind trade show.

One of the great features in the Nashville Amp Expo is that each manufacturer will be provided their own room where they can set up their products. The way this benefits you is that you get to try new gear cranked up high without ever being told to turn the volume down as well as talk directly to builders. This expo offers a great way for you to try out boutique gear that you might never see in your usual music store. With some of the best manufacturers (which includes major manufacturers such as Marshall, Vox, Peavey, Korg, etc.) of gear being in the bill for the expo, you get a dizzying array of exhibits to check out to eventually end that quest for the perfect tone

Some of the special events in the Nashville Amp Expo include the following:

  • A Q&A session with world-renowned producer/engineer Michael Wagener whose work includes artists such as Dokken, Extreme, Metallica, Megadeth and others.
  • Exploring Composite Signal seminar by Bryan Lionman.
  • 100 Watt History Lesson and Comparison seminar by Tommy Hatcher and Barry Weber.
  • Master Luthier Class by Manuel Delgado.
  • One-day admission costs $7.00 and two-day admission is at $10.00 with discounts for students and the military being offered as well. The first 100 attendees get to receive a free custom V-Pic. Getting into the expo also gives you a chance to win some gear as manufactures such as Creation Audio Labs, HipKitty, and Pigtronix raffle off some of their products. With a one-of-a-kind event just located near the music capital of the world, it's one thing that a guitarist shouldn't miss.
