National Tremo-Tone Appointed Offical Tone-Laureat At RaxTrax Recording
February 06, 2009
Patriots. I tell you this: no other guitar amp screams -- literally screams -- AMERICA like the National Tremo-Tone guitar combo. Well, it screams "AMERICANA" anyway. These guys were hand-built in limited numbers for use with the National electric dobros, and as such they make for excellent slide guitar amps, as this video and RaxTrax Recording's Rick Barnes can attest to.

Tremotone
Hi!
Cool demo!
Ive had a few of these tremotones.
That one you have is from 1960-61 and has twin 6973 power tubes. The earlier ones had twin 6v6 power tubes, and as such have a raunchy/fatter sound.. both amps scream, and for different twists on the same tonal nirvana, both are FANTASTIC!
Cheers
Mike
Schematic
Do you have a schematic for the tremotone? I have one National Tremotone 1224T from late 58 (dating speakers)
