For the rest of the summer, Native Instruments will be offering its Free Pro Upgrade special to Traktor Kontrol X1 DJ controller owners who want to upgrade from Traktor LE to Traktor Pro 2.

This time-limited offer will be good throughout the months of August and September, 2011, for all owners of a newly registered Kontrol X1. If that's you, you will receive a free upgrade from the included Traktor LE software to the fully featured Traktor Pro 2 version, gaining access to four decks, sample decks and loop recorder, comprehensive loop and cue functions, a selection of over 30 effects, and a host of additional performance features. The Traktor Pro 2 upgrade is valued at $139.

What's more, Traktor Kontrol X1 now ships with an additional physical overlay for sample deck control, enabled through the recently released Traktor 2.0.3 update. This addition allows DJs to specifically assign a Kontrol X1 unit to the sample decks in the current Traktor Pro and Duo versions, providing tactile and intuitive control of all relevant playback, volume, filter, and loop parameters.

How it works:

• Buy the X1 from the Online Shop or from a dealer near you during August or September, 2011
• Scan your receipt or take a clear snapshot (for example, with a mobile phone or camera) of your receipt
• Go to the Double Deal Form, where you will need to log in or create a new account
• Fill out the form and upload your receipt
• You will receive a confirmation email after successfully submitting your details
• Please allow up to 5 working days for verification of your eligibility
• You will then receive an email with a serial number and download link for the Traktor Pro 2 software
• After activating Traktor Pro 2, you'll get an e-voucher valid for a free Sample Deck Overlay in the NI Online Shop

The Free Pro Upgrade special offer is valid until September 30th, and it applies to Traktor Kontrol X1 units purchased from retailers or in the NI Online Shop.
