Native Instruments DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS: Turn Cultured Audio Into Radioactive Cheeze Whiz
Just can't seem to get that vocal track to fluxuate, warp and flutter in exactly the way you want it to? The new Native Instruments DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS KORE SOUNDPACK might not provide you with more control, exactly,, but it'll certainly provide you with a ton more options for utterly decimating your raw source audio. Yay!
DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS is the first effects-only SOUNDPACK for the KORE 2 and KOREPLAYER playback engines. Using processes derived from GUITAR RIG, ABSYNTH, FM8 and REAKTOR, DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS was made to be inserted as a track effect for manipulating raw audio like vocals, drums, synth, and anything else you want to treat like a clock in a Dalì painting.
Boasts 150 effects patches with 1,2000 total sound variations, DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS pairs especially well with the KORE 2 controller, lending real-time control over eight continuous parameters and eight-level effects bypass. NI describes some of the effects as "FM-sound-generators, talking ring modulators, tube pumpers, artefact creators, enveloped distortion, formant delays, wah wah cloud makers, alien radionizer, vinyl FX and so on." These complex processes are made possible by the sophisticated virtual routing of which the KORE engine is capable. For example, here's the routing chart for the patch called "Disarrayzer," one of the less complex patches in DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS:

NI DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS is available as an 11MB download form the NI shop for $79 US.
