Native Instruments GUITAR RIG 3.1: GUITAR RIG 3 Gets First Modification

April 02, 2008
Guitar Rig 3.1

Attention GUITAR RIG users, Native Instruments has released GUITAR RIG 3.1. It's a free update that makes Native Instruments' guitar modeling program sound even better, offering better sound quality and new enhancements to make usage smoother.

Due to some engineering progress, newly optimized algorithms reduce noise floor in the virtual amps and stompbox components without piling onto processor load. This means GUITAR RIG can now deliver higher-gain tones with less hiss.

Better sounds is where the improvements start, but they continue from there. GUITAR RIG 3.1 allows users the ability to handle multiple rack components at once, an optimized Live View with more options for customization, better Rig Kontrol integration, more support for external foot pedals and even some exciting new revisions to the user manual.

Registered users can download the new update for free. That includes you, Alanis Morisette.
