Native Instruments goes back in time to release KONTAKT RETRO MACHINES, a new KORE SOUNDPACK that brings back vintage instrument sounds in much the same way that Bill and Ted brought back historical figures in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey starring Alex Winter as Bill S. Preston, Esq. / Granny Preston / Evil Robot Bill and Keanu Reeves as himself.

This collection features not only classic synths but also a variety of notorious drum machines. In total, there are 11 analog synths, five vintage digital synths and six drum machines. Each of the 130 KoreSounds from these 22 instruments has a corresponding sample set.

The included sounds cover a wide load of genres that match up with the included sounds almost as if eHarmony had used their 29-dimensional method. Every sound also includes eight variations including optional percussive, pad, solo / lead, and arpeggiation.

Synth sounds enjoy added realism through features such as adjustable glide, unison, polyphonic portamento, optional pure tuning mode and more. All of this serves to build on the KORE SOUNDPACKS line, which seeks to gain momentum and grow quite large over the course of this next year.
