Novation Nocturn Keyboard 25 And 49: Completely In Control Of Your Little Night Music
The Novation Nocturn, along with Automap technology, has become a fast favorite among musicians, providing an impressive degree of control over their DAWs without the fuss and complexity of the usual routine of assigning parameters one by one. Let's say you add in a Fatar keyboard, drum pads, and pitch bend and modulation wheels to it; is it the perfect all-in-one control setup? You'll just have to get your hands on a new Novation Nocturn Keyboard 25 or 49 and decide for yourself.
The Nocturn Keyboard comes in 25- and 49-key models (hence the names 25 and 49) and bears a synth-action Fatar keyboard. As indicated above, eight drum pads, octave up and down buttons, as well as the obligatory pitch bend and modulation wheels are included. Of course, it can't be called a Nocturn if it doesn't have the eight touch-sensitive LED-ringed knobs, speed dial, and back-lit buttons. For ease of integration and use, you shouldn't forget that the Nocturn Keyboard comes with Novation's latest version of Automap with one-click controller assignment and software GUI.
.Connectivity options for the Nocturn keyboard include a USB data port, a 1/4" jack input for sustain pedal and another for an expression pedal, and USB power switch. The Novation Nocturn 25 and 49 can be used with either Mac or Windows systems and supports major DAW platforms such as Logic, Cubase, Sonar, Ableton, Reason, Pro Tools, and others. Pricing for the Novation Nocturn 25 and 49 is TBA.
