Nucleus SoundLab unleashed its latest Reason 6 expansion pack, Filter Research 3 ReFill. The collection packs in over 200 unique effect Combinators.

This fact also goes out to Propellerhead Reason 4 users and it is for this reason that the Nucleus SoundLab Reason Wizardry video tutorials have been initiated.  

Remember back in the eighties, before he became "Mr. American Roots Music," when T-Bone Burnett was producing hella-synthetic sounding albums like Spike by Elvis Costello? Man, he would have LOVED Nucleus SoundLab Synthetic Kits back then!  

If you were to ask Thor what his "ultimate refill" would be, he'd probably respond "a horn-o-plenty brimming with mead." If you were to ask the same of sound designer Nucleus Sound, they'd probably respond "our new Reason Thor Refill, Nucleus Sound Pantheon." Who you gonna believe, an actual company, pushing a new product, or a fictional, mead-sodden, baby-seal-hunting* Norse God?

Over two decades prior to the release of Nucleus SoundLab MK Digital Keys, artists were tearing it up on the Roland MKS-20. But most of those artists are pretty old or dead now (most likely from Fatalities!), and today's new crop of young whippersnappers don't know an MKS-20 from a sock full of quarters with their computers and their internets and their strange and frightening haircuts. MK Digital Keys introduces this generation to the MKS-20, even if it's not in a physical format.  

Nucleus SoundLab gets all gemological with the release of Sapphire. It's a 150 patch set for use with the Rob Papen BLUE synthesizer.  

Nucleus SoundLab releases some Reason Refills -- Filter Research includes all sorts of Combinator Patches designed to induce creativity and prove that you don't need a lab coat and a clipboard to have fun with research.
