Numark C-Series, Numark M-Series And Numark X-Series Mixers At Summer NAMM 2008

A Wide Load Of Numark Mixers

To save his brother, Felix "Memphis" Raines from Numark has to overview 11 mixers in three minutes. After doing so, we reached Felix for comment. He responded "I'm a little tired, a little wired, and I think I deserve some appreciation."

Ah, it feels good to throw down some old school Gone in 60 Seconds references into the mix.

FELIX “MEMPHIS” RAINES: Hey guys. My name is Felix. I am with Numark, and I’m going to show you our new mixers. I’m really excited about them because we have three new series of mixers, a total of 13 brand new mixers. Let’s go at it right here.

We have the C Series, the rack-mountable mixers. We have starting with the C1, really simple but really nice. You have three channels, your crossfader, master, five-band EQ, and you have all your meters.

You can -- To tell you, stepping up, you have the C2. The C2 actually has four channels, and you have a mic input as well. SO, you have your mic input here, all your four channels with three phono preamps.

A step up from that one, we have the C3. The C3 actually has five channels for a total of five microphones. So, you have a microphone in the front, four microphones in the back. You have all your meters, all your cool stuff.

Now, the C3 has two big brothers. It has the C3 USB. It does the same thing but it also has USB output. So, if you want to plug it into a computer and use it as an interface for any software, you can do it or even to record directly to a computer.

And there’s also a C3 FX. It has all the good features of it. You have four mic inputs right here plus the input in the front so you have five inputs and it also has effects, so it is actually powered by Alesis effects, which are legendary.

We also have the M1 series. These are analog scratch mixers. They’re all mountable. You have the M1, real simple again. You just have two channels with your three-band EQ.

A step up from the 1, you have your M2. The M2, you have the three EQ but you also have meters and you have your phono line switch.

The M3 actually gives you more meters. You have all your meters here. You have your three-band EQ but you also have EQ kill, so you can actually kill bass, mid, and highs.

And then we also have the X Series. The X Series is actually our digital line of mixers. And again we have the X1 USB. You can see in, you have your three-band EQ, you have all your meters, reverse crossfader. Looking at the back, you have your mic input then you go you have your two USBs for computer compatibility.

We also have the X6 and the X9. Both of them are going to have effects. Now, you’re going to see the Alesis. Any effects that we have, they’re going to be powered by Alesis effects, or if you know they’re [SOUNDS LIKE] legendary 40 effects.
