Oftentimes, a simple setup that has it all offers a more instantaneous setup that saves precious time to give space for rest and generate more ideas. Summer NAMM 2009 sees the introduction of new complete DJ systems, the Numark iCDMIX 2 and iCDMIX 3.

The iCDMIX 2 Dual Performance CD System is the first of its kind to feature an integrated Universal Dock for iPod to enable users to play music from any virtually docking iPod. A dual-deck CD player, three-channel mixer, and other professional features and technologies all indicate its design for professional use all encased in a rugged metal chassis. CDs, MP3s, iPods, and even external non-digital sources such as turntables can be integrated for totally flexible performance options.

iCDMIX 2 FEATURES:

• Anti-Shock™ buffered skip-protection technology
• Housed in a metal chassis for rugged, reliable performance
• Seamless loops on both decks for creative performance
• Beat match with ±4, 8, and 16% pitch control and BPM counter with tap tempo

The iCDMIX 3, similar to the iCDMIX 2, allows users to play virtually any major music format. Encased in the same rugged metal casing, the iCDMIX 3 is also armed with a dual CD player, universal dock for iPod, a three-channel mixer, and a complete host of professional features including the Anti-Shock electronically buffered shock protection. Easy track location comes via iCDMIX 3's high-contrast VFD display.

• Play CDs, CD-Rs, MP3 CDs, and iPod

Numark plans to ship the iCDMIX 2 and 3 starting September of this year. Pricing is yet to be announced by Numark.
