Easy to learn and use, the MixTrack Pro works just like any setup with two decks and a mixer, offering portable software control, touch-sensitive decks, a USB audio interface, and more. According to Numark, the MixTrack Pro handles advanced performance techniques well enough for veteran DJs, while being simple enough for beginners to use.
The MixTrack Pro features two deck controllers with large touch-activated jog wheels and transport controls. DJs familiar with CD players, turntables, or any other traditional DJ hardware will find it easy to transition to the digital domain with MixTrack Pro, notes Numark. The new controller and interface contains illuminated Transport, Loop, and Effects buttons for quick referencing during performance on stage or in the studio, along with a mixer section with a smooth crossfader, line faders, deck EQs, and advanced controls for looping and effects. Its compact size makes it ideal for mobile DJs who just want to grab their gear and go.
On top of being a dedicated controller and mixer, the MixTrack Pro acts as a professional audio interface, providing clean stereo sound to both the master outputs and headphone cue. A microphone input is included as well, for adding vocals to a DJ set or making announcements. The MixTrack Pro connects to a Mac or PC as a class-compliant device, so it requires no software drivers to work. What's more, the unit is USB-powered and does not need an external supply.
Also included with MixTrack Pro is Virtual DJ LE software for mixing and performing all types of digital audio and video formats, with direct access to iTunes playlists. The MixTrack Pro provides immediate control over all of Virtual DJ’s parameters for a direct, "hands-on" DJ experience.

MIXTRACK PRO comes with Serato DJ Intro, powerful software which makes it easy to mix your favorite music. Although it says it's gonna run smooth on your Mac it really gives me headaches on mine !
