Orange Amps Crush PiX Series Upgraded

It's too late for spring cleaning, but it's never to late for summer, umm, betterment! Man, that should be the tagline for the upcoming Summer NAMM conference! Maybe not. Maybe it should just be the tagline for the newly improved Orange Amps Crush PiX line of solid-state combo guitar amps.

For 2009, the Orange Crush PiX line has been completely redesigned and upgraded. Designed as high-quality practice amps, the line is comprised of solid-state combos that range in wattage from 15 to a 100 watt bass amp.

The new range also now includes an on-board, DSP-powered effects section, with sixteen presets to choose from and an effects level / blend knob. Also added is a digital tuner with LED readout for a complete practice and backstage warm-up amp.

The new line includes:

  • CR12L -- 12 watt guitar combo
  • CR20LDX -- 20 watt guitar combo
  • CR35LDX -- 35 watt guitar combo
  • CR25BX -- 25 watt bass combo
  • CR50BXT -- 50 watt bass combo
  • CR100 BXT -- 100 watt bass combo

All the models feature a headphone output, and most feature an AUX input. You check out the entire line at it's Summer NAMM debut.
