Overloud TH1 Triode: Mysteriously New Guitar Modeling Software Released
Following the release of Overloud TH1, the company's masterstroke guitar and amp modeling software, Overloud releases TH1 Triode, its Essential Guitar Effects Suite. The two programs feature the same technologies and features, so if you've used one, there should be very little learning curve.
TH1 Triode also shares the same decade-in-the-making tube and analog emulation technology. Triode, they say, should be comprised of the warmest, lushest and most accurate guitar tones they've ever modeled, and perhaps feeling a little froggy, Overloud implies that it's the best that anyone has ever modeled. I can't help but wonder if they're BIASED -- pun unquestionably intended.
TH1 Triode features some nifty benefits only available through Overloud like SLR amplifier morphing, free life-like microphone positioning, ReSPire cabinet technology and BREVERB-based palindrome reverb. Take that and throw in a very different user interface; a huge selection of mics, cabs, amps, stompboxes, rack effects; sizable storage and real-time control, and that's TH1 Triode. It's yet to be seen, however, if Triode boasts any significant improvements or differences from the original TH1.
