For those of you who live your life a quarter mile at a time, Paul Reed Smith is releasing a limited quantity of Paul Reed Smith Corvette Standard 22 guitars. The Corvette Standard was initially meant to be a one-shot custom deal given to Corvette racer and avid guitarist Ron Fellows at the Chicago Auto Show.

The guitar, which looks very sleek matched with Fellows' signature Z06 Corvevtte, generated a lot of interest from both PRS fans and Ron Fellows fans alike. Paul Reed Smith decided that they should probably produce more than just one.

The release of the PRS Corvette Standard 22 is going to be very limited - only 50 will be produced. Fellows himself was excited about the release.

“It’s amazing to have both a limited edition Corvette and PRS guitar model named for me.” If only we all could be so lucky.
