Peace Love Productions Jazzy House: Diminished Chords Equals Augmented Grooves
"The freedom of Jazz is so engaging and powerful that it has influenced all sorts of musicians ranging from classical, rock, and even dance music traditions. Jazz can go from something that requires serious listening and contemplation inside your to something that you can stomp your feet to and dance away, and this fact was not far from the minds of House music producers. Catering to that need for keyboard-based groovy and jazzy sounds, the release of Peace Love Productions Jazzy House fits in just right.-Ken Burns, from the opening of his Jazz documentary*
Enlisting the assistance of pianist John Hobard, Peace Love Productions brings to the table a massive loop collection of upbeat keyboard jazz licks, solos, and riffs. Jazzy House contains MIDI files, loops, and one-shot samples with sound folders such as long solos, keyboard cut ups, kicks, snare, percussion, hi hats, basses, pads, SFX, filtered rhythms, beat layers, and kickless grooves. The manner in which the loop collection has been organized allows for a lot of flexibility and versatility for producing just about any form of House music.
With emphasis on keyboard sounds, you will expect to hear really impressive electric piano and Hammond organ performances. With a MIDI folder containing 3 long 8 measure solos (in one Jazz and one Latin variation) and 34 House basslines, you can use your favorite VST synths for sounds that you desire the most. Not only that, using a MIDI editor or notation program, you can create variations on the themes in the MIDI folder to suit your taste and ideas. Using the cut-up loops as well as 83 drum one-shots, you can spice up your tracks and give them a new dimension as far as your creativity could take you.
Jazzy House contains 464 loops and 83 drum one-shots that are available in Apple AIFF, Acidized WAV, and Recycle RX2 formats. All sounds have been sampled at 24-bit/44.1 kHz stereo to ensure pristine clarity. You can download your copy for $29.95 via the Peace Love Productions web site.
