Peavey PV 6 USB And PV 8 USB PV Series Mixers Released
Two new mixers have been added to the Peavey PV Series of mixers: the PV 6 USB, and the PV 8 USB. These PVs offer reference-quality microphone preamps with low total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.0007 percent, and much more.
Ideal for project studios or live- and program-music mixing situations, the PV 6 USB and PV 8 USB feature effects send on every channel with stereo return, zero-latency record monitoring capabilities, and a USB port for direct connection to a USB-equipped computer for recording from the mixer or playing back digital audio. Both models include pre-fader monitor sends, inserts on all channels, dual switchable line inputs on the two stereo channels, and phantom power.
Unlike other mixers, PV Series mixers sport mid-band EQ set at 450 Hz, which according to Peavey, makes vocals are sound clearer and warmer.
Furthermore, all PV Series mixers include Tape to Control Room and Tape to Mix assigns, which allow you to monitor an external stereo signal without using any of the mixer's channels. What's more, the Control Room output sends a stereo master output signal to an external source for monitoring.
The PV 6 USB and PV 8 USB are available now. Find out more at peavey.com.
