The PXD Vicious Devin Townsend Signature Model has a 28-inch baritone scale, seven strings, and a maple neck-through-body design that is supposed to give the instrument incredible sustain. A custom EMG 81 seven-string humbucker in the bridge position and an EMG seven-string single coil at the neck provide the guitar's "menacing rhythm" and lead tones, as well as striking clean tones in the neck position.
