Hardware and software come together with Percussa Modulor (Mac / Win), a freeware application developed specifically for the Percussa AudioCubes hardware. Modulor allows you to record, loop, process, and assemble musical information coming from up to 16 AudioCubes, quickly and easily. Put together loops, add effects to recorded or live MIDI information, interact with virtual instruments, and more.

With this hard / soft combination, you still use the AudioCubes in the same way that you're used to, by touching the cubes' onboard sensors and connecting them via USB to a computer running Modular. The Modulor software runs by itself (no other software needs to be run at the same time) and talks directly to the hardware cubes, so no drivers are necessary. Use Modular to color-code loops and MIDI effects, display a rack of virtual instruments, record loops directly into the cubes, and so forth. All work can be saved in bank files and / or exported as a MIDI file to your computer for use within your DAW or other software.

The software application is completely free and ready to download from Percussa's Web site. It works with MIDI and keyboard controllers, CoreAudio or ASIO audio interfaces, and VST or Audio Units virtual instruments.
