Planet Waves Circuit Breaker Instrument Cable Stops Pops
Now that Sones de Mexico has all of their instruments ready for plugging in, what kind of cables do they use to do said plugging? As Juan Dies tells us, they use Planet Waves Circuit Breakers. The selling point, of course, is the ability to mute the signal at the push of a conveniently located button.

Sometimes, acoustic musicians also have to se their instruments down, and if you leave a line open while you’re changing instruments you may get a feedback especially if you’re sitting in front of a monitor. So, it’s handy to have some kind of mute thing that doesn’t pop either. So, Irekani is using a Monster Cable with a mute function in it, so this little black button will mute the instrument. Let’s de monstrate.
IREKANI CHAVEZ: So right now it’s mute, no sound.
