Plughugger Club Tools Vol 1: Preset Library Released For Sylenth1 Soft Synth

April 23, 2010
Plughugger Club Tools Volume 1 features bass and lead presets designed for LennarDigital's Sylenth1 software synthesizer.

LennarDigital's Sylenth1 virtual synthesizer is expanded with a full set of dance-oriented presets from Plughugger Club Tools Volume 1 (9.09 EUR or approximately $12.16). When you add the new Club Tools preset collection to Sylenth1, you'll be better prepared to get your not-so-silent freak on, right from your home studio.

Knowing that Sylenth1 is especially good at handling basses and leads, Plughugger compiled all of its best presets around that fact and included a heavier ratio of basses and leads to atmospheres and sequences. Club Tools offers a mixed sound set of original driving basslines and leads that complement any dance-music track or mix. The collection includes 128 sounds in all: 2 atmospheres, 33 basses, 40 leads, and 53 sequences and arpeggios.

Using the Modulation wheel, you can adjust each preset to suit your taste. The Mod wheel is already set up to alter sounds in what Plughugger calls a logical way, instead of in a classical vibrato style. All sounds are said to be 100 percent hand-made and not the result of mindless randomizing.

Together, Club Tools Volume 1 and Sylenth1 are a powerhouse for making tracks, mixes, and remixes for house, modern dance, trance, electro, and any other up-tempo genre of electronic music. Even the preset collection's price (9.09 EUR) reflects what it was designed for.

Club Tools Volume 1 requires the Lennar Digital Sylenth 1 software synthesizer and comes in FXB / FXP format. All sounds are available in one bank, as well as separate patches, and were developed using Sylenth 1 version 2.
