Crown's XLS series just got a whole lot bigger with the addition of the XLS series. At 5000 watts in four-ohm bridge-mono mode, it's twice as powerful than any other XLS series amp and most likely some locomotives. It's also housed in an all steel chassis and poses as a mild mannered reporter by day.
I hope that when I'm 60, I still look as good as the Crown Macro-Tech series amplifiers which are being re-released with an anniversary edition. To do so, I'd probably have to be plated in copper as well.

Over the pond in London at PLASA 2007 this September, MC2 Audio will be exhibiting their new E Series power amp, the E80. The E80 packs quite a punch, running 4000 Watts per channel at 4 ohms and 5500 Watts into 2 ohms.
