PowerFX DJ Samplr Music App Released For IPhone
Sample anything you want, wherever you are -- PowerFX has announced the release of DJ Samplr, a music app for iPhone which makes it easy to record, edit, and assign your own samples wherever your iPhone takes you.
DJ Samplr for iPhone includes over 300 sounds in a simple “drum pad style” interface with pad tap and hold, pitch bend, and panning. You can also record, edit, and assign your own samples or import sounds via iTunes.
The new app can be used in a variety of settings, from live DJ performances, the home studio, random jamming sessions, or quick entertainment at any location. To use the app, all you have to do is plug your iPhone into your mixer and jam along with DJ Samplr by dropping in your favorite sounds or mangling them up with the touch of your finger. PowerFX calls this "futuristic scratching."
