Precisionsound Monzter Bazz: Nu Metal Bass Sounds To Rattle Your System
Precisionsound is great for samples if you're looking for Celtic Whistles or Bolivian Panpipe, but chances are, you haven't thought about either one of those instruments in quite some time. Monzter Bazz provides something from Precisionsound that fits well with their Monzter sample line and more conventional needs of computer musicians.
If you haven't figured out to flip those "z's" around, Monzter Bazz is a collection of bass samples. You don't have to think too much harder to imagine that this sample set is catered towards Nu Metal (where alternate spellings equal mad street cred) and other heavy forms of music.
The range of Monzter Bazz extends from B1 to B3, and everything is recorded Line-In, Clean, or Overdriven. Monzter Bazz contains the following articulations:
- Long sustained notes in four velocity layers
- Release samples for the long notes in four velocity layers
- Hard staccato notes in four velocity layers
- Soft staccato notes in four velocity layers
- Slide Up notes in two velocity layers
- Slide Down notes in two velocity layers
- Slide FX and noises
Monzter Bazz was also recorded with some bass equipment that should be able to make any bottom feeding four stringer salivate.
- Warwick Thumb Bass, 4-string
- Ampeg SVT III Pro Head
- Ampeg 4x10” Cab
- Peavey 5150 Mk1
- ENGL 4x12” Cab
