Precisionsound Vintage Keyboard Collection Volume 1: Get Your Hands On Grandma's Organ
Even if you don;t know what a Bergman Klavitron" is, you're still gonna want to check out the new Precisionsound Vintage Keyboard Collection Volume One.
The Bergman Klavitron, by the way, was a rare, Swedish-made tonewheel organ, made during a brief period during the 1960s. Like everything made in Sweden in the 1960s, it was required by law to be stamped with the name of the country's greatest cultural export, Ingmar Bergman. According to Precisionsound's ESL description, "it has its own sound character mostly because of its percussive settings giving a plucky sound to the solo manual and all the tubes, it looks like a Christmas tree inside," which, as I'm sure you've picked up on, is a direct quote from Nattvardsgästerna (1962), starring Gunnar Björnstrand and Max Von Sydow. You can finally hear what the Klavitron sounds like by purchasing the Vintage Keyboard Collection for a mere $69 US.
Your download of Vintage Keyboards also nets you the hard-to-find “Ace Tone” ACE 3000, described by Precisionsound as "a grandma’s organ". . . Jesus, guys. This sample set comes complete with the various organ voicings, as well as the little drum machine rhythms. Retrotastic.
Finally, the collection includes a samples Stylophone. Because that's a required addition to any "vintage" synth sample set nowadays, I suppose.
Vintage Keyboard Collection Volume One is formatted for HALion / Kontakt, and is available as a download from Precisionsound's website.

Ace Tone
The Ace Tone was from the first line of products from the company that would soon rename itself "Roland".
