PreSonus Studio One Upgrades, Crossgrades: Update Your Setup To Studio One Pro 1.5
All this month, PreSonus is offering a special crossgrade special for anyone who wants to "dump their old-skool, bloated DAWs."
This crossgrade offer means that throughout June, 2010, owners of any version of any DAW -- including Avid Pro Tools, Steinberg Cubase, Steinberg Nuendo, Apple Logic, Apple GarageBand, Cakewalk Sonar, Ableton Live, MOTU Digital Performer, Sony Acid, Propellerhead Record, Cockos Reaper, Magix Samplitude, Acoustica Mixcraft, or Image-Line FL Studio -- can buy PreSonus Studio One Pro 1.5 for $299, which is $100 off the regular price. This offer expires on June 30, 2010.
You will need to go through several steps to get your crossgrade deal. First, find the box or original sales receipt for any version of the following DAWs: Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo, Logic, GarageBand, Sonar, Live, Digital Performer, Acid, Record, Reaper, Samplitude, Mixcraft, FL Studio. Then bring the following to your nearest PreSonus dealer: a photocopy of the sales receipt for any of the DAWs listed above, or a photocopy of the UPC code for any of the DAWs listed above. When you are finished, you will have a boxed version of Studio One Pro 1.0, and from there, you can go online to upgrade to Studio One 1.5 (free). The limit is one Studio One Pro crossgrade per customer.
For those who currently use PreSonus Studio One Artist and are thinking of upgrading to Studio One Pro 1.5, the company is also offering the chance to get that upgrade for $149 -- which is $50 off the regular price -- from a PreSonus dealer or distributor, or from the PreSonus Web site. Upgrading to Studio One Pro 1.5 will score you advanced mastering functions, 64-bit sound quality, video playback for scoring, VST and Audio Units support, instant song upload to Web sites via SoundCloud, and more third-party resources. Like the crossgrade offer, the upgrade offer is good through the end of the month.
