PreSonus Studio One 1.5: Software Updated To Version 1.5
Version 1.5 of PreSonus Studio One DAW software will be here soon, bringing with it major improvements and a number of new features.
The update provides support for video playback and sync for composing to picture, better Browser drag-and-drop capabilities, the ability to draw your own automation waveforms, automation points that are locked to events, a new key-command editor, changing tempos within an event without slicing the event into separate events, support for REX files, and support for song and album art.
Further, the MIDI features have been revamped with a new MIDI file player in the Browser; the built-in SoundCloud client enables you to upload audio files from Studio One directly to the Web; and Studio One now boasts improved Native Effects plugins (Pipeline, Presence, Impact, and Spectrum Meter) and some new plugins as well (Level Meter and Scope).
PreSonus expects to ship Studio One version 1.5 in April, 2010 as a free update to registered users. For a full list of updated features, please visit presonus.com.
