Paul Reed Smith Guitars: Five Out Of Five PRS Endorsers Agree . . . Paul Reed Smith Is Tops
January 28, 2009
We sit in on a panel discussion between PRS players Dave Navarro, Johnny Hiland, Tony McManus and more about being PRS players. They've got fans and players on both sides of the sea who play electrics, acoustics and basses, and unless they're all blatantly lying to us, PRS seems to be a pretty great company to have on your side.

If your endorsed PRS is great otherwise forget about it.
After trying so hard to purchase a PRS bass which list for 11k!! yes 11k!! All I got from PRS is "dont bother us. GO to a dealer and place your order. No you cant come to our factory to demo our insanely expensive bass no one stocks. If you want to play it purchase it"
The guys at PRS are smoking the pipe a bit too much. I am taking my money to Fodera, Ken Smith, Sadowsky or MTD. Those guys listen and cater to everyones needs regardless if your endorsed or not. A huge shame. The PRS bass at least on paper looks sweet but at 11k and no way to demo it or get factory feedback? I DONT THINK SO!!
PRS Bass
I had a tech question on a PRS bass guitar that I had purchased used and PRS said they did not support that instrument anymore. After 2 years I am still searching for the wiring diagram to get this bass working properly. I had to write just to say that though my experience was not quite as expensive as what you were trying to do, my experience with PRS customer relations seem similar to me. Thanks, Chuck.
