QESounds Altered Reality FX: Surreal Soundscapes And Ambient Tones Deal That Audible Fantasy
The pressures of real life often trigger a tendency for us to escape it. While some individuals have done so to the detriment of their health, eventually leading to institutionalization, others have sought to do so in much safer ways. Kontakt users will be delighted that for a fleeting moment of their choosing they can escape reality without going insane.
The QESounds Altered Reality FX Series is bound to make Kontakt users explore the fantastic recesses of their minds, and give their brains a break from the pressures of reality.
Altered Reality FX, or ARFx is described as a series of original sounds altered in a number of ways to create what QESounds call piquers. These are defined as, "Things that would pique or captivate your interest."
All of the sounds in the series are based on real-world objects and instruments, some with alternate performance, and all processed with extensive alteration such as pitch stretching, convolution, EQ, crossfading, stereo enhancement/modification and other methods. No synthesis, resynthesis, or granular synthesis was used, to ensure that the sounds will still have that little link with reality.
ARFx sounds are assigned in their own groups for better organization, and to give the user the ability to adjust the EQ, volume, and pan for their own requirements. Each ARFx library combo contains 88 unique sounds, and all include SoundTools Scripting and Virtual Layer Remapping (VLR) Scripting. Soundscapes and ambient moments are easily handled through the ARFx series.
Prices for each member of the QESounds Altered Reality Fx series depend on which will be downloaded or ordered. The prices range from 24.95 USD for the Altered Reality 1 FX1 (downloadable) to 99.95 USD for the Altered Reality 1 FX1/2/3 Pro (2 DVDs).
