Keyboardists have a lot to thank for these days from technological advancements in electronic music to keyboard stands. Now, what's the deal about keyboard stands that keyboardists have to thankful for? For one thing, appropriate keyboard mounting options were only tables and desks that you'd have to rip apart to make good stands for your analog synths, mellotrons, and other keyboards. Nowadays, we keyboard players have a lot of options from x-style triple-tier stands to traditional four-post mountings. Another option comes ni the form of z-style stands such as the Quik Lok Z-70.

The Z-70 is a single-tier heavy duty keyboard stand, the evolution of Quik Lok's "ZEENITH" series. Setup is fast, just as you would with a folding chair, and (as the name suggests) has the pro "Z" structure at its core. The spring-loaded dual pin system provides the means for fast height adjustment via a "release and lock" mechanism. Width adjuster provides a good means of accommodating a range of keyboards from small 37-key synths to more massive 88-key stage pianos.

The Quik Lok Z-70 has been constructed from 14-gauge steel, and the foldable design makes it good to travel with and set up fast for gigs anywhere. This stand is also compatible with other Quik Lok accessories such as the Z/728 mic boom, Z/731 utility shelf, and the LPH/Z laptop holder. The Quik Lok Z-70 keyboard stand has an MSRP of 189.99 USD.
