QuikQuak Pitchwheel: Change Pitch Without Stretching The Note
QuikQuak's latest plug-in, the Pitchwheel, can change the pitch of a sound without altering its length in real-time. Its operation centers around a large dial and simple parameters -- a surefire formula for instant, creative fun.
Pitchwheel can change your pitch anywhere from a couple of semitones to a couple of octaves. The user pointer represents the pitch you desire to change to, and QuikQuak smooths the sound to that actual pitch.
When used alone, you can create odd effects. Simulate Doppler effects or alter atmospheric background noises to match your melodies easily. Control internal processing with the buffer size parameter to achieve the best sound.

Good fun
Came across this by accident, it's great fun to spin sounds around like that, and works really efficiently. I'll recommend trying it, as it has a new take on old idea.
