Radio Gearwire is back, now with hosts Bill Holland and Britton Wetherald. This week sees the announcement of Sonar 7 and the final shipping of Reason 4. Britton and Bill look at the new features being offered in both softwares.

Sonar 7 sees the now-classic DAW becoming more intuitive with options like the integrated step-sequencer and ACT. Reason 4 is set to become the next powerhouse of software modular synthesis with it's all-in-one modular synth Thor. Thor promises to be significantly more user friendly than Reaktor, while being an integrated part of Reason.
