Rain Recording's Element Pro Quad-Core Digital Audio Workstation

If you look closely, you can see the lines of heat radiating off the picture. (Okay, maybe you can't.) Rain Recording has pulled out all the stops and rolled out a very serious box for very serious audio work - meet the Element Pro Quad-Core Digital Audio Workstation.

A workhorse by any definition, this blue box is named the Element Pro PQ 1. It's 44 pounds of muscle built around a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad processor, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB 7200 RPM OS drive and a 500GB 7200 RPM audio drive.

An even heavier-lifting variant, called the Element Pro PQ2 sports a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Quad, 8GB of DDR-2 RAM, a 500GB OS drive and a 1TB Audio drive.
