JAZZY JAY: Serato Scratch Live. See right here -- over here I could take you a little bit to the --

JAIME ENDICK: You’re going to show us Serato Scratch Live. All right.

JAZZY JAY: Oh, all right. So you might want to -- let me just. Now, the basic thing, the basic operation is the reason why this thing was made for expressly cats like myself. When I used to carry records, you know what I’m saying, for years carry hundreds, thousands of records to each party. Crates are heavy. If you ever lift a crate of records, you know what I’m talking about. What this allows you to do is it allows you to store all of your music files within the computer. It reads different formats so as like MP3, WAV files, AIFF files and you store all of that stuff on the computer for later use. You can label it, blah-blah-blah. Do whatever you need to do to it. And this eliminates you carrying the bulk of a lot of records. If you’ve got enough hard drive space and enough power/capacity on your laptop, you can literally carry like, myself I carry maybe anywhere in the neighborhood of about, maybe about 30 or 40,000 songs. I could never do that if I had to carry 30 to 40,000 pieces of vinyl. It just wouldn’t happen even if there was a double-sided, even 15, it’s a lot, a lot of stuff to carry around. It’s a lot of weight. But as you can see, not too heavy, bang-bang.

JAIME ENDICK: [LAUGHING]

JAZZY JAY: And you got, you got the same, same purpose. What it does is it allows you to store all your files. Over here what we have is the section where you have your crates. Now, this is not my setup right here so it’s kind of like, you know what I’m saying, with my setup everything would be like all. You can scroll up to your crates and each crate represents this -- the top crate right here, so I should say the all file represents all the songs that are in your hard drive. Let me -- As a matter of fact let me get rid of this hardware thing real quick. This area right here, this section right here is the list of all the songs that are in your files. It just go on depends it -- like I said the only limitation would be the limitation of your hard drive. So, the bigger your hard drive, the more songs you could store. And you can select through any song and select it. Put it to a file. The invincible song right here, just want to know what that’s like. And I can actually put that on this side. Now it’s ready for you to just manipulate between two turntables. You see I’ve only got one turntable here today so...

JAIME ENDICK: Right.

JAZZY JAY: ...I’ll show you. As you can see, we don’t have too much sound but I’m pretty sure you can pick it up. This right here, you see the motion kind of mimic. And the action between the digital vinyl and the...
