At NAB 2010, Renegade Labs introduced the new M16 Digital Suite Audio Mixer control surface for the company's 328 | MXE processing chassis.

The M16 features full 8-channel monitoring, including configurable matrix with Surround Sound modes and stereo downmix; a built-in Preview Switcher; a 16-button keypad matrix, which offers control of input assignments, output routing, monitor configurations, and memory registers; 16 video frames of audio delay; full 16-channel, 3-band parametric EQ; 100 mm faders and unity LEDs for precise level adjustments; program and preset busses; and dedicated pan pots for easy output panning.

Its precision optical encoders and soft-buttons provide control over mixer operations, while its 240 x 64 status LCD display gives a clear view of mixer status information. For detailed metering in PPM, VU, K-Meter, and Surround Sound with peak and phase indication, you can add on the optional, much larger 640 x 240 color LCD. A USB port handles register storage and software upgrades.
