Heads up, two kinds of Blasts are coming your way -- the sample library company Renegade Media Group has released Blast: Modern Urban Production Tools Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. These two sample collections offer kits, sounds, and loops created by and used by the noted producer Bobbybass (Jay Sean, Lil Wayne, Sean Paul, Lil Jon), who is also the co-founder of Renegade Media Group.

According to the maker, Bobbybass used sounds from these libraries on the single by Jay Sean, "Down" featuring Lil Wayne and on the song "Do You Remember" featuring Sean Paul and Lil Jon.

About the new collections, Bobbybass comments, "Our goal was to provide street-certified sounds that are actually usable in productions. How do I know the content in Blast is up to the task? I use it in my own work with some of the top artists in the industry today."

Blast: Modern Urban Production Tools Vol. 1 offers more than 500 hip-hop, R&B, Southern, crunk, and tribal sounds, plus full construction kits, single drum shots, and keyboard loop idea starters and building blocks. This 4 GB sample library is so large in scale that it had to carry on to Blast: Modern Urban Production Tools Vol. 2, which picks up where Vol. 1 left off and continues with more than 450 additional sounds and nearly 3 GB of total content. Both Blast volumes are presented in ACIDized WAV, Apple Loops, REX2, and Reason ReFill formats.
