Reverend Ron Asheton Guitar: V Shaped Guitar Made To Ron Asheton's Specs
January 11, 2008
Reverend Guitars teams up with Ron Asheton, guitarist for Iggy Pop & The Stooges, to bring the Ron Asheton signature model. It's based off of the Revernd Volcano design with a korina body and a trifecta of P-90 pickups.
Any fans of Iggy Pop & The Stooges know Ron Asheton's tone possesses a great deal of raw grit, but a five way pickup selector adds some extra versatility. Stooges fans should also know that Iggy Pop looks like he's slowly and sadly melting.
Ron's touch is added to this guitar with a triple lightning bolt logo on the body and Ron's signature on the headstock. Detailed features include:
- Solid korina body with raised center section. 20" x 15-1/2" x 1-3/4" (center) x 1-5/8" (wings)
- Three Reverend P90 pickups, output/tone calibrated for each position. Hum cancelling when combined
- Glued-on neck, one-piece korina, tilt-back headstock
- Dual-action truss rod, accessible from the headstock
- 24-3/4" scale
- Rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius
- 22 medium jumbo frets
- Medium oval neck profile
- 1-11/16" (42.86 mm) nut width, graphite
- Wilkinson EZ-Lock tuners
- TOM Bridge w/ stop tail
