I don't understand why this walkthru was done with that thick distortion on all the time. It basically prevented us from hearing what the Guitar sounds like. This is particularily surprising, since the R 360 is most known for its wonderful clean tone, as used by the artists mentioned in the walkthru's introduction text. Also no info about the amp and pedal (if the distortion was made with a pedal) used here was provided. This walkthru was not very informative, because the distortion hid the Guitar's own tone.

That's it! I was just about to write the same thing, Jaakko: why all that fuzz? The guitar's actual sound was absolutely undistinguishable. I'd suggest you guys to remake the test, this time starting with the clean tone, and then add some crunchy overdrive.

Please make it clean, it is unfair.. IM thinking of buying this guitar, and I would really wish to hear it.. please please please play it one more time, with no distortion/overdrive or reverb, echo or wthatever.. just a nice clean sound, few chord strumming, a bit fingerpicking a solo.. along those lines.. Please, I am begging.

This is a really poor review of the guitar. Play it clean and through a tube amp. You cannot even hear what it sounds like! Also Elliott Smith VERY rarely used a Rickenbacker, and on none of his well-known studio compositions, so I think it's a bit silly to talk about it like it's one of his signature guitars.
