October 07, 2007
RODE M3

Australian mic-makers RODE are pleased to display the M3 microphone at AES. The M3 is a studio and location multi-powered condenser microphone. What does that exactly mean? First of all, its a condenser microphone that doesn't necessarily need Phantom Power as long as you've got a 9V battery.

The M3 is very versatile as well and can be used in your home studio, on location, or basically anywhere. It features low-noise and wide response and it has a cardioid polar pattern.

Features

  • Heavy-duty metal body
  • Internal capsule shock mount
  • High level of RF rejection
  • Switched high pass filter
  • Low handling noise
  • Heat treated high-strength mesh head
  • Battery status indicator
  • 9V Battery Power and 24-48V phantom power
  • Heavy-duty carry case, popshield and RM3 mic clip included
  • Full 10 year warranty
