The RODE Podcaster USB Mic
February 06, 2007
RODE's USB dynamic mic, the Podcaster, is built especially for the voice. The RODE rep says the Podcaster is tricked out with an 18-bit digital audio converter inside the mic, plus a built-in headphone jack and volume control. The mic's built-in headphone out lets you monitor the signal back from the computer into the Podcaster mic. RODE also claims the latency issues normally associated with USB mics aren't a problem for the Podcaster. Check out the specs in our exclusive video from Winter NAMM 2007 in Anaheim, California for more details.
More info is at the RODE official site.
