Rode S2 Vocal Microphone Details: Musikmesse 2007 Video

The S2 stage vocal mic follows on the heels of the Rode S1. The S2 will be a bit more affordable, MAP'ing at around $150. The main difference between the S1 and S2 is that the S2 is an electret condenser design. This means that the element is powered by an electrostatic charge rather than phantom power.
