Roland BA-330 Portable Digital PA System Ships With Anti-Feedback Technology, Eco Mode, And More
Now shipping, the Roland BA-330 Portable Digital PA System ($829.50 MSRP) boasts "superior" battery technology and the ultimate in portability.
The BA-330 has a six input, four-channel configuration, with two channels dedicated for microphones or instruments, and two other channels for standard 1/4-inch stereo inputs. Each channel has its own independent tone adjustment and effects switching for built-in effects, such as EQ, reverb, delay, and widening. A Stereo Link function allows for a pair of units to work in tandem.
The superior system is powered by a digital stereo amplifier, four custom-designed 6.5-inch stereo speakers, and two tweeters, positioned for wide stereo dispersion. In addition, the BA-330 delivers a sound pressure level of 109 dB. Use the built-in tilt-back stand to angle the unit up for better sound monitoring, or mount the BA-330 on a speaker stand.
What's possibly the coolest part about the PA system is its Intelligent Anti-Feedback function, which allows the BA-330 to automatically detect potential feedback possibilities and eliminate feedback immediately. This automatic process saves you, the user, loads of time and keeps you from having to manually adjust volume levels. While performing, you can place the PA system behind you and easily hear yourself without experiencing feedback, according to Roland.
The BA-330 can run on standard AC Power or eight AA Alkaline or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. The switchable output power allows you to switch between the maximum power usage and Eco mode, which saves energy and preserves battery life. For more information, please visit Roland's Web site.
