Roland Cube-XL Bass Amplifier Series Ships: Cube-20XL Bass, Cube-60XL Bass, And Cube-120XL Bass
New bass amps are here, hooray. Roland is now shipping its Cube-XL Bass Amplifier Series, which kicks off with models that range in power from 20W to 120W: the Cube-20XL Bass, Cube-60XL Bass, and Cube-120XL Bass.
The Cube-20XL Bass, Cube-60XL Bass, and Cube-120XL Bass feature a high-performance DSP engine, multiple COSM amp models (including the new Super Low amp on the Cube-120XL Bass and Cube-60XL Bass), updated effects (including the new Drive and Poly Octave), onboard phrase looping (Cube-120XL Bass and Cube-60XL Bass), and Power Squeezer (Cube-60XL Bass and Cube-20XL Bass) and SOLO functions.
The Cube-XL Bass Amplifier series is a significant update to the bass amp segment of Roland's Cube amplifier line. According to Roland, these bass amps come equipped with high-end features, construction, and sound quality for bassists of all levels.
Built with premium, durable components, the Cube-XL Bass amplifiers sport high-grade plywood cabinets, full- length corner guards, and protective metal grilles. The amps are also equipped with custom-designed speakers (including two-way coaxial speakers on the Cube-120XL Bass and Cube-60XL Bass) and custom flared ports (Cube-120XL Bass and Cube-60XL Bass) for a tight, punchy sound and superior deep bass performance, according to Roland.

Excellent Craftsmanship
Excellent Craftsmanship Great Sound Great little amp that packs many on board effects found in much more expensive units. Anyway, even though the Cube 20X is probably enough, I'm thinking of maybe getting the 30X just in case I ever need more power; it's still smaller and lighter than the Blues Jr.
