No, it's not the bathroom scale from the Star Wars cantina. It's Roland's HPD-10 HandSonic 10 hand percussion controller. The HandSonic features 400 sounds, ten individual pressure-sensative pads, 20 effects, built-in rhythms and a "D Beam" that allows you to control sound, pitch, and special effects merely by waving your hand over the D Beam sensor.

Gotta say it, I own the 10 and the 15, and the 10 is just so much better, I wouldn't bother with the HPD-15 at all.
Better sounds, better build, more SENSITIVE pads!
