June 09, 2011
Roland Tri-Capture UA-33, now available, is a USB stereo audio interface for musicians, guitarists, vocalists, and more.

Check out the newly released Roland Tri-Capture UA-33, a USB stereo audio interface optimized for video production, Web streaming, and Podcasting.

Powered via USB, the Tri-Capture UA-33 is equipped with three kinds of inputs -- an XLR mic input with phantom power, a 1/4-inch input with a Hi-Z (impedance) switch that allows you to connect a guitar directly, and a stereo AUX input with a dedicated volume control for connecting a stereo sound source such as a keyboard, rhythm machine, mixer, or portable music player. Sound output from the computer is provided on stereo 1/4-inch TRS output jacks and a headphone jack.

Whether you're on a Mac or PC, you can find a good use for the Tri-Capture UA-33. Ideal for guitarists, vocalists, and other musicians, the interface also offers three recording modes that provide instant selection of recording scenarios, including Loop Back for Web streaming applications. The Tri-Capture UA-33 records and plays back 24-bit audio at sample rates up to 96 kHz. It also comes bundled with Cakewalk Sonar X1 LE.

Audio drivers for the Tri-Capture UA-33 are available for both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. According to Roland, these portable interfaces offer both high performance and affordability for computer audio enthusiasts.
