Schecter Porl Thompson Corsair: Looks Great, Especially In Comparison To Porl Thompson

January 19, 2008
Schecter Porl Thompson Corsair

Porl Thompson of The Cure now has a guitar that is as cool looking as he is scary looking. Seriously, he looks like an undead Bill Holland wearing lots of eyeshadow, but that's besides the point.

The Porl Thompsan Corsair is a semi-hollowbody guitar that features an Original Bigsby B-70 Vibrato. It blends class with modernity with its Kev Grey Original Tattoo Graphic of birds and snakes in black and white.

The guitar also features 22 jumbo frets along a set-neck design that connects a 3 piece mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard to a maple body. It also has chrome hardware and grover tuners.

The pickups are Duncan Designed HB-201s and can be used with a three way switch. Well, it's literally Friday, and I'm figuratively in love with this guitar. I admit, it's mostly the snakes.
