Selmer Mark VI: A Shining Example Of Strategic Product Placement
July 21, 2008
So are you wondering what the mysterious secret ingredients that make up the alloys to the Selmer Mark VI saxophone happen to be? Well, this Gearwire editor has a harebrained theory that's so crazy, it just might be true:
- Two cups dark brown sugar
- One cup granulated sugar
- One cup butter (two sticks or eight ounces)
- Six large eggs
- One tablespoon vanilla
- Three cups cake flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Eight ounces sour cream, light or regular
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Wait, that's a Bundt Cake recipe I found on the internet. Maybe I should let Dengue Fever sax player David Ralicke do the explaining.
