Sennheiser SR 350 IEM G2: Dual Transmitter Adds Wireless Muscle
Sennhesier has transmitted a message to the public about a new evolution wireless transmitter -- the SR 350 IEM G2. This twin transmitter provides up to 100 mW of power for wireless monitor transmission.
Robb* Blumenreder, an industry team manager at Sennheiser, was more than happy to talk about the new features on the SR 350 IEM G2:
"The output power of the SR 350 IEM G2 can be switched between 15 mW and 100 mW -- offering an optimal fit for stages of all sizes. The menu control is as user-friendly as ever, thanks to the backlit graphics display which lights up red during peak warnings."
The SR 350 IEM G2 can be used with both the EK 300 IEM G2 and EK 3253 monitor receivers. You also get 1,440 UHF frequencies to work with so that no rogue signals interfere. If you find a few favorite frequencies you can store them in a bank of twelve channels -- or just use the eight other banks with twelve preset channels a pop.
Finally, some odds and ends -- the SR350 IEM G2 can be controlled and program with the NET 1 network system. Each transmitter on the twin unit can be monitored with separate headphone sockets.
