Seymour Duncan SFX07 Shape Shifter Tremolo
September 05, 2007
Seymour Duncan has announced the ruggedly-built SFX07 Shape Shifter Tremolo stompbox. This is built like an armoured car, and has plenty of sweet features including variable speed (one to 20 cycles per second) and a pulsating LED that keeps time with the tremolo effect. You can set tremolo speed by hitting the Tap Rate switch. It has a "Ratio" mode, letting you choose between four tap-to-note ratios: from one-to-one up to four-to-one.

The Seymour Duncan SFX07 Shape Shifter has a completely analog signal path, and sports a true hard-wire bypass mode for those who insist on having "true bypass." The tremolo effect can be used in sine, triangle, and square modes. Gearwire's Joe Wallace has more on this new announcement from Seymour Duncan, plus some other exciting developments around the industry. Click the audio link to get the full scoop.
