Peter Reardon of Shadow Hills Industries give us a look at his new monitor controller, dubbed 'Oculus.' Yet one question remains unanswered: how can something like a simple monitor controller exude so much cool?  

Robert McDowell of Manchester Orchestra is partial to the Shadow Hills Mono GAMAs -- neat little mono mic pres that fit into the API 500-series lunchbox frames. McDowell praises their versatility and financial implications, i.e., he can buy these and still afford luxuries like food. McDowell uses them in a variety of ways, all discussed in this audio interview.  

Although these days most people talk about the negative effects of compression, Doug McBride from Chicago's Gravity Studios shares with us the positives. The Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor has proved to him that it is not only useful for two-track sessions, but also for enhancing the tone of instruments or effecting vocal performances.
