Can't stop Tweeting? Put your thumbs to good use by Tweeting in order to win free stuff courtesy of the Sheptone Tweets Sweet Tone Campaign and Giveaway. The Sheptone Tweets Sweet Tone Campaign and Giveaway is an eight-week-long promotion that will reward participating Twitter users with free sets of Sheptone pickups, in exchange for some grassroots-style promotion.
Over the next eight weeks, Sheptone will be giving away one set of pickups each week, by random drawing, to those who participate. The Twitter campaign is the next step in the grass roots efforts to build up the Sheptone brand. To enter the Sheptone Tweets Sweet Tone Campaign and Giveaway, you will need to create a Twitter account (if you don’t already have one), follow the company @sheptone, and then tweet verbatim:
I love @sheptone #guitar pickups. Have you tried them? http://bit.ly/9nviKk
For this campaign to work, you have to "follow" Sheptone so that you can be notified if you are selected as a winner. Throughout the giveaway, Sheptone will select one winner each week to receive a free set of either the Sheptone Tribute PAF’s, the AB Custom Strat, Standard Tele, or Standard P90 pickups. The winner will choose which free set he or she receives.
Sheptone writes, "The campaign is the next step in Sheptone’s grass roots efforts. For the past few years, there has been a quiet undercurrent throughout the internet with musicians in the pursuit of tone. Plus, noted guitarists such as Brian Kahanek, Danny Kortchmar, Derek Trucks, John Fogerty, Richard Smith, and Steve Ouimette are becoming customers. Discussion of Sheptone products is increasing on forums and blogs successfully comparing them to the competition. Since last summer, the monthly newsletter is receiving thousands of signups and the recent creation of their Facebook fan page is fueling further discussions throughout the social media stratosphere."
